Enjoy playing snow

It is snowing outside. I just finished playing snow with my family. I was excited because it was my first time to enjoy playing real snow. I thought Skippy was excited than me because she ran and jumped all the time. She ate a lot of snow. We threw snow to each other. My hand became freeze because I did not wear grove. After that we drank hot chocolate. We put mashmallow on the top of hot chocolate. It was delicious and made us felt warm. By the way, tomorrow I have to go school early because I have a writing test. I have to come on time. I must drive carefully because of snow. I have to sleep early also. So it is time to go to bed. Good night.

Christmas Gifts

I went shopping with my cousin in the evening. We are looking for gifts for Christmas day. It is difficult to find something that was fit with someone. I bought nothing today. I have a few days to find presents to my cousin, her husband and her daughter. I will go shopping after testing on Wed. I hope that I can finish on that day.

Little Miss Sunshine

Last Thursday I and my classmates watched the movie, Little Miss Sunshine. I liked it absolutely. I liked every characters, especially grandpa. In my opinion, he was a good person even he took drugs. He was a noisy person and he spook impolite words but he loved his family, especially his son. I was so sad when he died by over dose of drugs. It will be happy if he can see Olive dances on the competition of Miss Sunshine.

My younger sister

I ever posted about my sister that I look for. She is my older sister. I have another sister,my younger sister. She is the last of four children. Her nickname is Kai(Every Thais have nickname). Her nickname means chicken. She is a teacher. When she was young she cried when people greeted her or said you were so cute. She can play Thai classical music instrument. She has a dog. Her dog name is Mee Mee. Mee Mee is Shih Tzu. My parents take care of Mee Mee now because she stays alone in the other provinces for teaching and she no has enough time to take care of her dog. The people in my family really like Mee Mee. Now Mee Mee is the fifth children of my parents.

Nozomi,she came to ......

Nozomi and her friend's family came to the restuarant where I work. Her friend's daughter is so cute. Nozomi told me that she likes spicy food. She wanted to go to my restuarant someday and she did. She wanted to place an order of spicy Pad Thai but I recommended her to try medium spicy because spicy is extremly spicy. Many costomers could not eat spicy level. We have 3 levels for spicy dishes that the cusomers can choose, Mild Hot, Medium hot and Spicy. I was happy that she and her friends enjoyed eating Thai food.

My father

December 5th is the Father Day in Thailand because the king was born on that day in 1927. Thai people have many activities to celebret for the king and their father. I called to my father on that day and said "Happy father day". My father is 56 years old. He is the second children of my grandfather-mather. He is a famer. I has learned many things from him. He gives me and my sibling. I do love him.

Dinner at Fern' s house

I just came back from Fern' s house. I went there to eat dinner with Fern, her mother and a friend of Fern' s mother. We ate Thai food, including rice noodle with curry, glass noodle salad and fruit. We were watching the death ceremony of king's older sister when we ate. We enjoyed eating because everything was delicious. Fern's mother gave me a glass of kahlua with milk. I left there around ten o'clock. Before I left, Fern's mother gave me Thai dessert. It was Thai coconut jelly.

Thanksgiving day

Today is Thanksgiving day. In the morning I went to watch Thanksgiving parade in Manhattan with my friends. My cousin dropped me to my friend' s house at Queen then my friends and I went to Manhattan by sub way. We arrived there around 10 o'clock. The weather was very cold but it could not stop my eagerness. I could not see the parade closely because it was crowded. I tried to go close up but I could not. The parade was wonderful. Balloons were very big and beautiful. We were excited. We looked like the children go to a fun park. We enjoyed seeing the parade. We snaped a lot of photos. The parade finished around 11.30 a.m.. Then I went home and after that I went to my cousin farther and mother in low house to have dinner like an American custom. I was happy on Thanksgiving day.

My mother's birds

My classmates enjoyed to talk about their pets after Diego's speech. Someone likes dogs and someone likes cats. I don't like cats so I never have a cat. A year ago, my mother had a couple of cockatooes. My father built a birdcage for them. In the day they could walk everywhere they wanted but at night they had to stay in the birdcage because there were many mosquitos. They could hang on trees but they could not fly. My father also built a small swing for them. My mother said her birds were intelligent. They said "I'm hungry(In Thai)" when they were hungry. They also could say "Hello" when they saw my mother, my father and my grandmother. They danced when my mother turned on the radio. They made my people had fun. My neighbors told me like my mother said but I never see it. She said they were excited when they met me and my sisters so they could not do everything that my mother said. Both of them died last year. My mother, my father and my grandmother were sad. They still keep the birdcage until now because they're missing them.

My mother and my princess

My speech topic was The King of Thailand. It was difficult to me to explain why Thai people love the king in English. I was very excited to talk about the king with the foreigners because we are from different cultures. I'm not sure that my classmates understand my speech clearly. It is my problem that I have to practice my English more. I tried to do my best because I love and respect my king. I also love his children, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. She is a third children of him. She has many royal duties own her own like her father. Once in a blue moon my mother had a chance to be a representative of my village to give Thai silk to the princess. She made it by herself. She was very excited. She sewed a new cloth by herself. When I and my sister went back home on the weeken she showed us her photos that she snaped while she was giving Thai silk to the princess. She hung thoese photos on the wall both down stair and up stair. I had to listen to her talked about that day many times. Sometimes I was bored but I had to pay attention to her because I know that she loves the princess so much and she is very proud of herself.

Hershey Park

Today the topic of Pearl's speech is Walt Disney World. Many classmates want to go to Walt Disney World, and me too. I have plan to go there before I go back to Thailand. By the way, last summer I went to Hershey Park at PA with my cousin's family. We spent 2 days at there. At first we went to Hershey's chocolate world. We learned about how to make chocolate and Hershey history and then we went to fun park. We enjoyed to ride the roller coasters but I did not like when it had a long line. We sang karaoke song and recorded it liked our own song at karaoke studio. We bought souvanirs. We took a lot of photos. We had fun.

Alysa

My cousin's step daughter is Alysa. She is 11 years old. She is skinny but I think she is lovely. Every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday she has to go to dance school after class. She study ballet, tap and hip hop dance. On Wednesday she enjoys to practice with the drama club at her school. Someday I have to take her to school if her parents are busy. That is why I am late on someday. Every weekday I have to pick up her from school at three o'clock. When we arrive home the first thing that she does is plays with Skippy.She cry for Skippy many times because Skippy is stronger than her........ "I gonna go in my room., I gonna go downstairs., Can I eat ......she always tells me when we are home together. I try to practice my English with her but sometimes I have no idea to make an interesting conversation with her but I must to try more and more.

My bad day

Today the weather is very cold for me but it doesn't matter. I want to go to school today but I can't. I have to cut my class because nobody home. I have to stay home with my cousin daughter. She has no school today. I want to see Keyri and Kelsey on Karaoke contest. I want to see how they sing and how day dance. I hope you guys enjoy on this event. Take care guys.

Chilli paste

My cousin just came back from Thailand yesterday. She bought several souvenirs for her friends such as Thai silk, silver ware, ceramics, etc.. Her mother cooked chili paste for me. It's spicy but I like it. It made from ground dry red chili, vegetable oil, sugar, shrimp, pork.Yesterday I ate too much because it is difficult to find original Thai chili pate here. I miss Thai food especially, Thai dessert. Thai dessert is very sweet but I do like it.

My sister

A person who I look up for is my sister. She is hard working and easy going. She is a single. She got bachelor degree in Finance and master in Economic. She can advise me about my works. She is support my family and support me to come here too. She helped me to prepare the documents for apply a visa. I used to live with her when I worked in Bangkok, Thailand. Now she lives alone because our hometown is in Nakhonsawan,the Northern of Thailand. It is 249 kilometers from Bangkok. She often goes back hometown on weekend. She likes to travel. She is a backpacker. Next week she will go to Vietnam to travel with her companions. I think she misses me because she calls me. I miss her too.

Skippy

Skippy is a dog. She is half of a pit pull and the another I cannot remember. My cousin got her from shelter when she was young. Now she is a year and three months old. She is very big and strong. I usually go out to walk with her after school. I have fallen many times by her because she is stronger than me. She is always excited when she sees birds. So funny that she always bark a mailman when she is in a home but she is quiet when she sees the mailman out side. She bit my shoes. My food is stolen by her. By the way, I really like her.

Pai, Mae Hong Sorn II

Pai is the perfect place to go for backpacker travelers. It is a small town and surrounded by steep mountains. There are several waterfalls. Pai has been becoming popular by western travelers. It is a quiet place for relaxing. You can ride a bicycle, a motorcycle or and an elephant around the town. The town is full of cheap guesthouses, souvenir shops and restuarants. I had plan to go there many times but I did not accomplish yet. If I go back to Thailand the first place I will go absolutelly is Pai. I want to go there before changing by tourism.

Pai, Mae Hong Sorn

Yesterday I studied about tour and tourist. We talked about the interesting hill tribe in Mae Hong Sorn, Thailand. Mae Hong Sorn is a small province in the northern of Thailand. It's far away form Bangkok where is the capital of my country. You can go there by air or road. It's depend on your money. The people who live in Mae Hong Sorn are Thai and hill tribe people. They have their own spoken languages. There are many interesting places in Mae Hong Sorn. The most popular is Pai, a small remote village on the mountain. I'm eager to let you know Pai but see you next time.

Election day in Thailand

The election day in Thailand will be on Sunday at 8.30 am. to 3.00 pm. , if we have to elect the senators or the primeminister. On a day before the election day the stores, the clubs, the restaurants, etc. have forbidden to sale alcohol by law. By the way, you can watch election news all day all night same in The U.S. and you can see the movie stars or the famous people come to vote on braking news.

Somtum

Last Thursday after class, I went to Fern's house. It was my second time to went there. Fern's family are so kind for me. Her mother cooked Thai food for us. Tell the truth that everything was delicious, especially Somtum. Somtom is a popular Thai food. I think you can see Somtom on the menu of every Thai restaurant in NY. Many foreigners call papaya salad. It is like salad but it is spicy fresh chilies. I recommend eating Somtum if you have a chance to go Thai restaurant.

The second session

Today is the beginning of the second session. I had a new professor. Her name is Elaine. I had met her before in the conversation lab. In the class we discussed about elections around the world. As you know I'm from Thailand. My country has the king and the queen so we don't have a president. We have a primeminister who is from the party that has many members of the house. The king, the queen and their family can not vote because they have to be impartial. By the way, I have no idea about American election 2008. I usually watch news channel in the morning. There are a lot of news about election 2008 but I don't real understand. I have to stop writing now because I have homework about American election 2008. I must to find some answer on internet. see you guys.

Lai Lay beach, Thailand

Hi guys,
I am Kay. I am not Chinese or Viennese. I am Thai. Thailand is a wonderful country. I encourage you to visit Thailand. Allow me to advice some interested places and activities to convince you to go there. There are many interested places in my country. The place that I choose to let you know today is Lai Lay beach. Recommending Lai Lay beach is the place you shoud go. It is located in the southern of Thailand. It is a long white sand beach. It is awesome when you see your foot-print step by step on the long beach. If you want to relax from your study or your work and play some extreme sports. You can try rock climbing. I urge you to do that and do not be afraid if you have never done it before. The climbing teacher can teach you the beginner steps. It is safe and extremely good exercise. Think travel abroad think Lai Lay.
